Biography
Lockfist 669 was formed in 2005. Its members come from several known bands from São José dos Campos’ metal scene. The current line-up is Renato Machado (ex-Criminal Repulsion, Violence Factor, Aleister C.) – Guitars, Alexandre Paloschi (ex-Primal Rage) – Vocals, Davi Dziabas (ex-Aleister C., Criminal Repulsion) – Bass, Ascânio Andrade (ex-Primitive Only Eye, Piuke) – Drums.
With high musical identity, Lockfist 669 mixes influences from old and newer acts like Slayer, SOD, Hatebreed, Soilwork, Anthrax, Machine Head, Cannibal Corpse, Sepultura, Chimaira, Napalm Death, among others.
After 5 months from its foundation, the band released their first CD, named Inside, with 8 tracks and self-produced. The recordings took place from November to December/2005 in São José dos Campos/SP. The debut was released in January/2006.
Lockfist 669 works hard showing their work in TV shows, radio stations and live performances outside São Paulo state. The band also advertises songs and clips in the internet and performed live in shows alongside bands like Treta, Jesus Martyr, Inocentes, Napalm Death, Krisiun etc.
The band’s new effort, titled Dead in a Second…, marks the arrival of new vocalist Alexandre Paloschi, that gave new identity to the sound, with faster, more intricate and heavier songs than the debut. The CD was recorded at Oversonic Studios, in São José dos Campos/SP, and brings the special appearances of Fernando Schaefer (Treta, Endrah), Eduardo Boccomino (Chaosfear, Ex-Scars) and Antonio Cozta (Ophiolatry).
